Tom Morgan was Winston's owner and rod designer from 1973 to 1991, and his contributions to Winston and the fly fishing world as a whole are enormous.
Tom's belief was that "a great fly rod is a great fly rod in any era," and we stand by that.
On the occasion of Winston's 90th anniversary, we can't resist the opportunity to reintroduce the Tom Morgan Favourite.
Launched in 1989 as a commemorative model to celebrate our 60th anniversary, the Tom Morgan Favourite (TMF) has many followers to this day.
He grew up fishing Spring Creek in Montana.

It's a tough place to fish, with wary brown trout, and the slightest mistake can kill the fishing.

He designed this 8-foot-4, two-piece rod, which is built with medium-modulus graphite and focused solely on fishing down to the mid-range, where finesse and accuracy are most important.
