This 170D tinsel thread is made of ultra-fine UV film with UV shimmering effect twisted with mylon monofilament. Two series: natural colors (yellow, light olive, black) in which the axial threads do not reflect UV, and UV colors (FL chartreuse, FL salmon pink, FL fuchsia pink) in which the axial threads strongly reflect UV.
UV film can create a bubbly shimmer in the water, making the natural colors ideal for nymph and imager bodies and antennas, while the UV reflective colors are very effective for tags and accents (soluxe and living) on nymphs and wet flies.
