This tool is used to clean fly lines. The tool is made of a strong plastic material and has two felt pads attached to it. After applying the companies' fly line cleaner solution to the pads, the tool is slowly slid across the fly line to remove dirt from the fly line surface and restore its buoyancy and lubrication.
It has a dovetail hole so that it can be attached to a lanyard or set on a pin-on reel for convenient use with a fly vest.
