Scott SC Reservations

SC Split Cane Bamboo's handcrafted Scott SC series has been acclaimed by successive generations of builders, Mario Ujnicki and Bernard Ramanoskas. Now, following in the footsteps of these two masters is Japanese builder Naoki Hashimoto. Jim Birch, Scott's designer, chose Mr. Hashimoto from among many builders for the new SC series rods because of his unique and delicate Japanese technique, which he has tested and perfected over the years. Jim's action for the Bamboo is not focused on power, but on a rod that can be used as a well-balanced tool in actual fishing situations. The rod was designed not only for rainbows and browns, but also for yamame and iwana fishing situations.
