The Intermediate heads are usually very popular.
Intermediate heads are usually very difficult to throw, which has been a problem for many casters. A scandi type line would lack power, and a skagit type would lose its soft presentation. So Rio explored the middle ground and developed a line that successfully combines the characteristics of the two and is easy to present.
This line can be used on lakes as well as rivers, and is designed to be fitted with various types of tips so that the sink rate can be explored with the tip, rather than changing the sink rate with the head.
On rivers with heavy current, the iMOW tip allows you to probe faster and deeper,
and On quiet lakes, you can use a replacement tip or versi leader.
