UTFW is a special ferrule wax developed especially for metal ferrules used on bamboo rods. Some of you may have had problems with metal ferrules sticking after fishing is over. To solve this problem, Silver Trout blended microcrystalline wax with high quality lubricating oil to create a low viscosity, top quality ferrule wax.
We recommend UTFW to keep your precious bamboo rods in good condition for a long time.
