What are X series reels

? Open frame reels designed for lightness, strength, smooth drag, and fast line pickup, the X series reels feature a strong X-shaped frame that extends from the center to the line guard. This angle also allows for protection where the reel primarily contacts the ground when the rod is propped up against a wall or car.
Unique SCF-X drag system
. The all-new SCF-X drag is a shielded Teflon and carbon disc drag system. The drag knob is large and easy to grip for wet fingers and icy conditions.

. The ventilated arch design, combined with dual permitting rims, increases spool strength by 35%. The sides of the frame leave the spool completely exposed, while the body side rim of the spool is 1/8" thick as an additional pummeling rim. This heavy secondary pummeling rim is also highly abrasion resistant. The spool is an ultra-lightweight, award-winning GigaArbor design. It is the lightest weight ever.
●Three frame sizes
. XS ? 81 mm in diameter, 117 g. XM ? Diameter 87mm, 125g. XL ? Diameter 100mm, can be fitted with #6/7XL spools and #8/9XL MAX spools. At 140 grams, the lightweight XL and XL MAX will conquer large freshwater fish and small saltwater fish.
