Oikawa Special Rods Full of Playful Spirit
The Oikawa Special is a fly rod with a Japanese flavor. The base uses the blank of the Infante 801-4.
In the past few years, the Oikawa boom has been revived as a fly fishing target. So we have added a special Oikawa version to the Infante 801-4.
The Japanese style bamboo pattern is expressed in the grip and reel seat, which have been made as compact as possible to enjoy fishing with Oikawa.
The smaller grip and bamboo pattern make the action slower and heavier than the regular 801-4, and the bamboo taste is also expressed in this rod, which stimulates the playful spirit of adults. It is also suitable for landlocked salmon and iwana.
The thicker paint on the Infante blank gives it more flexibility and torque, allowing anglers to enjoy pulling Oikawa with a slower action than with the 801.
Both models are available with Supra Jet line.
Both models use Supra J-Stream DWF Straw color (Oikawa SP) as the line.
