In addition to a moderate flex pattern, the IMX-PROe has a generous amount of power from the mid-section to the butt, allowing for effortless loading for casting accuracy without sacrificing power transmission when setting the hook.
The use of conduit core technology and the GL7 resin system also reduces the weight of the rod. The custom half-well "EuroGrip", matte-finished reel seat with counterweighted fighting butt, precise guide spacing to prevent line slack, and pointer finger "sensitivity zones" on the blank above the grip, all contribute to the EuroGrip's unique design from the tip to the grip end. The "Sensitivity Zone" pointer finger on the blank above the grip is an essential element of Euro-nymphing, from the tip to the grip end.
