If we increase the diameter of the blank, we also increase the amount of material used.
In the past, that was the conventional wisdom. That was the only option to add strength and durability to the butt section of the rod.
However, Conduit Core Technology uses a unique material in the butt section that is lighter, more balanced, and transfers energy better, so the amount of graphite material used can be reduced.
