The taper design allows the line to wind through the water with ease. The head is compact in length (26 feet) and features a powerful, quick-loading 20-foot body. The front taper is short (3 feet) and easily turns over large striper patterns and heavyweight flies. The back taper is also 3 feet, providing line with minimal false casts and helping in situations where casting efficiency is most needed.

Line Features

Cortland's proprietary Cold Salt material wraps around a durable X-Strong braided nylon core that remains supple and resistant to wrapping in extremely cold conditions. Available in ice blue and light blue for easy visibility while blending in with the environment.
This line is ideal for quick shots and blitzes (when a school of small prey fish are raiding and preoccupied with their prey).




The line is designed primarily for striped bass (striper), but can be used for sea bass fishing in Japan.
