Well thought out taper design

. This fly line is ideal for catching striped bass as well as fish in deeper water. The Type 8 (8~9 IPS) sinking head is 28 feet long, with a short 3-foot front taper that will turn over even the largest saltwater patterns. The back taper is also 3 feet and provides quick line feed and greatly improves shooting performance. The running is intermediate and does not sag, allowing the line to reach deeper in the water smoothly.

Cortland's proprietary Cold Salt material wraps around a durable X-Strong braided nylon core, which remains supple and resistant to coiling even in extremely cold conditions. Available in ice blue and black for easy visibility while blending in with the environment.
