Each pack has its own personality and advantages, but also shares some features. Buckles are the same size and can be shared between specific pack models. The main fabric, made from 100% recycled material, is durable and water-repellent 600D CORDURAECO polyester, and the interior is lined with durable, easy-to-read contrast color 200D polyester. The interior is lined with durable, easy-to-see 200D polyester in contrasting colors. Contact surfaces that require high abrasion resistance are TPU coated for water resistance and durability. All wearable packs share a back panel made of lightweight, irregular, mesh-covered foam for increased ventilation and comfort. Models with tippet holders will feature the Tippet Whippet system, which minimizes spool protrusion, eliminates uncomfortable dangling and provides easy access to the tippet bar. And the larger packs will feature the new "Fat Lip" net storage feature, which keeps the landing net secure and out of the way until needed. The new Orvis packs feature ergonomic advancements by improving existing features and their placement.

. The Orvis Sling Pack has been designed in detail to be easy to wear and comfortable to use. Now available in three size variations, it features redesigned and resized pockets, improved tool docking, and optimized capacity. The sling and guide sling feature handles positioned for easy gripping. The guide sling features an internal mesh pocket for additional versatile storage space, a zippered pocket on the strap to keep frequently used items close at hand, and a "fat-lip" net storage system. New sized mini-slings offer more functionality in a smaller, more minimalist pack; all three have been redesigned to be worn on the left shoulder instead of the right; and all three have been redesigned to be worn on the left shoulder instead of the right shoulder.
