The Atlantic Salmon Short is now available in a lightweight version for single-hand rods, designed for use with 9 to 9.5 foot single-hand rods. The head length is set at 22.5'(6.9m) to 24.5'(7.5m), which is approximately 2.5 times the length of a 9- to 9.5-foot single-hand rod. The lineup includes 190 grains (12g) to 280 grains (18g) for single-handed 5-8ths.
The single-hand rod makes it possible to cast easily and nimbly at points where it has been difficult to attack due to lack of backspace.
The 190-grain lineup will be most effective on small main streams and lakeshore points with overhangs. The 190 grain is also compatible with the #3 J-switch and the 220 grain with the #4 J-switch.
Recommended shooting line: Floating Monocoa .019 is recommended for its light casting feel. We also recommend .022 for 250 and 280 grain. Aero Shooter 24lb. is recommended for monofilar groups.
AST, Braid Core, Double-Ended Loop, and SAID. line colors are mist green/salmon for floating, pale green/surf for slow interlaced, light green/olive for S1/S2, and olive/dark green for S2/S3.
And a lineup for the lightest and fourth lightest rods has been added. In addition, Interclear and S3/S4 will be added.
Single hand inter/clear. Single-hand inter/clear (I/CI) - The most advantageous single-hand low impact nature may be this inter/clear, which has a stealthy clear tip. While other sinkrates combine two different coatings in a 1:1 ratio front to back, we have increased the ratio of the clear section to a 2:1 ratio to increase the stealthiness of the clear. The taper has also been fine-tuned accordingly to improve casting feel. Head lengths of 4/5 to 6/7 are 22.5' and 7/8 to 8/9 are 23.5' settings. Mono-core, looped at both ends, SAID. line color is surf/clear.
Single Hand (SH) Sink 3/Sink 4 (S3/S4)...We have finally been able to respond to the many requests for this line for use in fast main currents, deep lakes, and boat fishing. The taper design of the line is shorter than other sink rates to make it easier to cast high sink rate lines that are difficult to cast.
. Head length is 21.5' to 22.5'. Braided core, loops at both ends, SAID. line color is dark gray/gray
