The 18-foot long VARIVAS tapered leader "DH/Salmon" targets big trout in big river runs and lakes. This FHT (Front Heavy Taper) in particular is the most powerful tapered leader in the series with the ability to turn over salmon flies and large streamers without stress even in headwinds. Even in severe conditions, the 5-foot-long tippet section will help to calm the fishes. Adjust the tippet length to suit your rod length and field conditions.
