You will receive the hackle in the image as it is.
This is a wonderful volume of hackle.

Now one of Whiting's specialties.

This is one of Whiting's most popular hackle fibers, and it has a beautiful and fascinating pattern that makes anyone from beginners to experts want to reel it in. This indescribably beautiful and fascinating hackle fiber has a long fiber compared to other saddle hackles. Therefore, it is mainly used as tail material for small, delicate match-the-hatch patterns, wing material for small to medium-sized caddis patterns, and throat and body hackle for various sizes of wet flies. It is a perfect match for all types of fly patterns, and can be used for a wide range of applications and ideas. We also recommend that you use it in a parachute pattern with a thick body like the Ant style, and after thickly hackling a normal size hackle of your choice, such as whiting or high and dry, add two or three turns of this long saddle fiber to the hackle. Hackling the hackle, you can see the gap between the normal size hackle and the saddle. You will see a long hackle with a cod pattern sticking out from between the normal size hackle, and this is the secret weapon.
When this parachute-style fly floats on the surface of the water, the Leon's fibers flutter in the wind and sway with the waves, shaking autonomously like the wings of a real insect. It is very effective as an attractor fly, as an imitation for mayflies and beardtails, and as a spider pattern. However, when hacking with Leon's saddle alone, the soft base of the fiber will quickly lose its shape. Therefore, the best trick is to mix normal size hackle and Leon's hackle in order to keep the fibers in good shape and to prevent them from losing their shape. Try it! A little-known but highly recommended method of using hackle fibers is to wrap the stalks around the body of a dry fly as a quill body.
