Yarn bundled with brightly colored polyamide fiber is set on a spool for ease of use.

Natural colors can be used to represent spent wings, shucks, the body and tail fins of small fish, and by combining and bundling colors, the body of insects and crustaceans can be represented.

UV colors are highly UV reflective, so they are easy to see in the shade of trees when used small as parachute posts or indicators on dry flies, and produce a very strong fish attracting effect when used as tails and accents on nymphs and wet flies, and as bodies and livings on streamers.
