One strand of silk floss wound on a spool is composed of 12 thin strands twisted together.
After loosening the strands with your fingers, they become a bundle of 4 strands each, divided into 3 strands of exquisite thickness, which can be further loosened into a single thin strand for fine-tuning.
From 7/0 salmon flies to the smallest fly tags, this silk floss can be wound effortlessly.
