Machined from aluminum material used in aircraft, this reel is LOOP's top-of-the-line large-arbor reel with a practiced and polished drag mechanism, an ultra-lightweight body with no waste, a V-bottom spool, and the LOOP "L" design on the side.



The narrow, large vertical diameter allows more aluminum to be cut away, resulting in faster reeling speeds than ever before, and the spool spins slowly backwards on the fish's run.

The new spool is designed to be more flexible and easy to handle, and to prevent line breakage by reducing the tendency of the fly line to wind, reducing trouble during the fight and improving maneuverability.

The Powermetrix drag system is a fully waterproof sealed drag with marine grade seals and a carbon disc that produces a powerful yet sensitive braking force.
