Dry fly version of the same type as 5262. Often used to float medium or larger stoneflies, caddis, or terrestrials such as grasshoppers without wrapping too thickly. 2X long shank, so a mayfly wound on #12 is virtually the same size as one wound on #10 of 5210, but in this case, the gape and wire has the advantage of being two sizes lighter and therefore less likely to sink. This is one way to float large dry flies on thinner hackle.
