. A line for making long drifts in mountain streams using long leaders. The key to long drifting is to be able to drop the line and leader in the desired shape when casting.
To achieve this, we used a braided core that is nearly 20% thinner, making the diameter of the line thinner without sacrificing buoyancy.
As a result, the line is thinner in diameter without sacrificing buoyancy.
The tapered design also allows for smooth power transfer and easy control of turn speed. The thinner line tip also plays a role in avoiding drag.
This line is designed to be used in combination with Timco Leader LDL. Designed with compatibility with Timco Leader LDL in mind, the power of this line is demonstrated when the two work in unison. Total length 85 ft. (DTT and loop are not included.)
